Architecture: Panorama House with Bookshelf Slide

Gentleman need to have fun too… Rather than taking normal, everyday stairs to get from one floor to the next, architect Moon Hoon thought it would be much more fun to travel by slide. And so, he recently incorporated this playful incline within Panorama House, a home located in Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea. The key challenge for the talented architect was to come up with an idea that would work best within the designated building site while also serving many functions for the homeowners. Hoon achieved great success within his design concept. The constructed wooden area is used as a staircase, a large bookshelf, a home cinema, a place for reading, a desk space, a type of indoor playground, and a general space for the family…
